Investor update

I’m excited to write and let you know that MedLuma launched today.

MedLuma, the new AI clinical knowledge engine from Medcast will allow doctors to search for answers at point of care, from a large, curated set of Australian guidelines and international evidence. It is accredited with the Royal Australian College of GPs (RACGP) to meet Continuing Professional Development hours requirements, so this frees up to 50 hours a year of out of hours education. We are starting with GPs, then expanding to GP teams and other medical and allied health professions.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS SO FAR

MedLuma builds on Medcast’s 12 years of getting knowledge into practice faster.

Some key progress highlights so far:

Integration with Best Practice GP software (40,000 desktops) is underway and will go live mid-year
We are in an RFP process with the RACGP around AI enablement
The MedLuma dataset is over 4 million pages of evidence and growing. This includes content agreements with peak bodies such as RACGP, National Asthma Council, National Stroke Foundation, the new Centre for Disease Control (CDC) and the Australian Immunisation Handbook.
Our quality and safety data is improving markedly and becoming increasingly automated and scalable, a key differentiator from standard AI models.

We are putting in several more Medical Research Future Fund grants alongside major universities, with MedLuma as a key part of the program (over $1m in applications)

We have this week won work with the Victorian Department of Health for pharmacy upskilling on prescribing, with the potential for significant ongoing work.
